Grogans pub makes cheeky appeal to jacket thief caught on camera after staff member's coat stolen

A popular Dublin city centre pub has posted a cheeky appeal to help reunite a staff member with their stolen jacket.

Grogans, on South William Street, took to Twitter to appeal for the person who stole the jacket to kindly return it.

It gave an exact time of the incident happening and said it would delete the evidence of the theft and "say no more" once it was returned.

The venue also joked it fancied the jacket the alleged thief was wearing themselves.

The tweet simply read: "If the person who robbed a staff member's jacket from the bar last night at 23:31 wants to return it, we'll delete the videos and pictures of your face and say no more.

"PS: We'll take the Islands Edge jacket you were wearing too.

"Thanks!"
