Delighted Kris Boyd has pointed Rangers' doubters in the direction of the league table after demolishing Motherwell.
Steven Gerrard 's men shifted into top gear as they smashed six past Graham Alexander's side at Fir Park.
It extends the defending champions lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to four points after the first quarter,
Rangers appeared to put any doubts over an up and down start to the season Boyd lapped up the dominant display.
The grinning for Ibrox striker noted that things couldn't be going that badly in Govan if they held a four point lead over rivals Celtic.
He told Sky Sports after the win in Lanarkshire: "I think going behind, and you've obviously had to come back again, but there is one thing about Rangers, they have been knocking on the door for this performance.
"They were able to find it today, and that's the end of the first quarter.
"Rangers are four points clear, so it's not been that bad a first quarter shall we say."
After a wry smile appeared on Boy'd face, Eilidh Barbour said: "That smile is still there."
Boyd quipped: "It's always there."
