A grieving woman was left fuming after a couple 'kicked her out' of the plane seats she paid for, so they could enjoy more room to 'spread out' with their baby. Nama Winston, from Australia, had to cut her holiday short after getting the devastating news that her father had been in a fatal car accident.
She flew home immediately with her young son, but her grief was made even more difficult by the parents who forced her to move seats, as she branded them the 'most selfish people I've ever encountered'. Speaking to Kidspot, the mum explained: "My five-year-old and I were holidaying on the Gold Coast and had planned a big day of celebrating.

"But my sister called with the worst news: overnight, our dad had been a passenger in a car crash with another vehicle at a major Adelaide intersection. He had died at the scene."
The woman went onto say that she and her five-year-old rushed to the airport and got whichever seats they could get to get themselves back home as soon as possible.
"We managed to nab the row they leave for emergency travel like ours," she added.
"Qantas purposefully put us there because the third seat would be empty, and we could have a little space. When the ground staff told me that, I was so grateful and thanked them profusely".
As she was trying to relax on the plane to stop her 'mind spinning' from the devastating news, she spotted a couple with a baby boarding the flight in a rush.
Nama explained that she had been 'sobbing all day' and just wanted to settle into the three-hour flight back home, but the couple had their eyes set on the seats that she'd paid for.
"Cabin crew came over to me and explained that the couple were insisting that WE move to those two seats, so they could spread out with the baby.
"Oh to have the arrogance and entitlement of such people; boarding last, demanding where to sit, and forcing others to comply."
The grieving mum revealed that she agreed to move as she 'just wanted to get home', but was devastated by the replacement seats they got given as there was 'just a wall' and 'no window'.
Thankfully, things took a positive turn when the plane took off as a member of the crew came over to ask if they were ok.
When the mum revealed why they were there, the cabin crew made arrangements to ensure they were comfortable.
"He listened as I told him about the day through tears. For the rest of the flight, he kept me in red wine, my son in snacks and food, and he even organised for our bags to be found and removed from the flight, first," she explained.
