A grieving husband was unable to attend his wife’s funeral because of the Covid-19 travel ban.
Web developer Ramy Aly, 26, opened his heart after his partner Margaret Ann died at her home in Paisley last month.
She was only 44 when she sadly passed away.
Ramy told how he has been left heartbroken by the loss of Margaret, who lived in Glencairn Road.
He had travelled to Vienna, in Austria, to deal with a family emergency when he got the news that she had died suddenly at home.
He was not able to attend the funeral service because of flight restrictions grounding planes in response to the global pandemic.
He explained that that the couple had been on a break from their relationship when he discovered he had lost her.
Paying tribute to her, Ramy said: “You are gone from my life, but you will never be forgotten from my heart.
“You were a beloved daughter, mother and a great wife.
“Heaven is waiting for you, but in my heart you will forever live.
“But God has made his calling.
“Beautiful, you were simple and easy going, no fuss ever
made.
“Now my angel is in heaven watching out over us.
“I love you so much, and I miss you so much.
