Two greyhounds broke the norm and found themselves disqualified in a local race after running too fast in Kerry.
Strideaway Roxy ran an impressive 28.95 at Tralee Track last weekend while Mexican Blake closed a stunning 29.28 in their respective heats.
But the two heat winners were too quick for their own good after beating the time rule in a 525 Sweepstake for ON3 clash last Saturday.
Strideaway Roxy coasted to victory by some eight and a half lengths and Mexican Blake won their heat by some six and a half lengths.
But their disqualifications saw the fifth place greyhounds in their heat qualify in a weird turn of events.
