Grey roots, booze marathons and 'isolation gains' - celebs killing it in lockdown

Lockdown is no-one's friend when it comes to regular cosmetic maintenance.

Pete Wicks and his workouts have become the new gym while social distancing has forced women across the globe to become their own hairdressers. And what's the point in even bothering to get dressed if there's no-where to go?

With restaurants closed, the fridge is man's new best friend and it's wine 'o'clock - whatever the time.

Holly Willoughby has been doing fans proud, admitting she 'hasn't stopped' boozing since the nation got quarantined.

The This Morning presenter still has an early start for the show, but says she can't help but 'clock-watch', looking forward to her first drink of the day.

"I go, ‘Is it time to have an Aperol spritz yet?’” Holly, 39, said.

“The trouble is, you’ve got your own bottle of wine – it’s not like you’ve got to go to the bar and get a drink or whatever.”

And just last weekend she suffered the her 'worst hangover of 2020', admitting she "didn’t remember getting home from my own front room.

A girl after our own heart, she's also shared her home hair-dying routine, revealing she really does slap on a box dye to deal with pesky roots.

Uploading a video of her dye job, she said: "It's one of those weird things where nobody ever ever believes that I colour my own hair.

"I do. I colour it all the time. It saves me so much time sitting in the salon, so I just do it at home.

"It doesn't damage my hair and I find that my hair has been in better condition since I do this because I'm not layering up tons and tons of highlights."

Meanwhile, former Saturdays star Una Healy has given up the ghost and embraced her natural silver roots, sharing an inspirational selfie on Instagram.

Una, 38, captioned the photo: "Isolation greys! I didn't think I would ever feel comfortable enough to post a photo like this and not care!

"I used to be mortified for having a few greys for years!

"But there are much more important things to be concerned about right now."

And US singer Pink took the scissors to her own hair - while sloshed. Don't try this at home kids.

"When I drink, I get really, really brilliant ideas," she said of the inspo for her quarantine pixie cut.

"I think I'm looking pretty good... Am I giving like, Alyssa Milano vibes right now? Charlize Theron?"

Back in Blighty, comedian Paddy McGuinness has been having a lovely time scoffing homemade chips, mashed potato, bolognese and the crusts from his kids' sandwiches.

Earlier this week the still-buff star shared a picture of his bare stomach which he humorously captioned: "Isolation gains".

Saluting his friend, singer Rick Astley commented, joking "I can beat that but I'm not releasing the evidence."
