New jobs are being created at Dumfriesshire’s family-owned Gretna Green Ltd wedding and tourism business.
The company is holding a recruitment evening for wedding, hospitality and retail roles on Thursday from 4pm to 7pm, and said it is “searching for individuals to join its growing team” and “creating a range of jobs for the local community”.
Although the number of posts has not been disclosed, they include food and beverage manager, team leaders, reception hosts, maintenance manager and and retail sales staff.
With a 260-year wedding history, the business is a five-star visitor attraction with two luxury hotels and restaurants, a food hall, eatery and retail shop, and the new £1.5 million immersive, Famous Blacksmiths Gretna Green Experience.
