Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said survivors and the beareved of the Grenfell Tower fire were "overlooked and ignored" before the blaze and "shamefully failed" after it.
It came after a damning report into the Grenfell disaster called for "urgent action" from the Government and those with the "oversight and direction" of the emergency services.
Inquiry chairman Sir Martin Moore-Bick said the London Fire Brigade's preparation for an incident such as Grenfell was "gravely inadequate", and the absence of a plan to evacuate the tower was a "major omission".
LFB Commissioner Dany Cotton expressed her “deepest sorrow at not being able to save all those who died in the Grenfell Tower fire.
