Greggs' sausage rolls recalled over fears they contain bits of plastic

An urgent recall has been issued for Greggs ' sausage rolls after shoppers were warned there may be pieces of plastic in them.

The Foods Standards Agency in Scotland has said the frozen Mini Sausage Rolls (16 Pack) could pose a choking hazard if the small bits of material found their way into the product.

Iceland customers should not eat any if they have bought them and return the packet to the store for a full refund.

The supermarket giant exclusively stocks the product.

The warning does not affect normal sausage rolls sold in Greggs. No other of the chain's products are known to be affected.
