Gregg fans can rejoice as the nation's favourite bakery has officially opened up their first ever drive-thru in Scotland, which has created 16 new jobs.
The bakery chain has expanded their drive-thru portfolio with the new store which has just opened on Bonnyrigg Road, Dalkeith.
The store opening comes after Greggs opened up their first ever drive-thru in England back in 2017.
In even better news, customers can either sit in store or order a home delivery through the Just Eat app.
That's right, folks. There are now so many more ways for you to get in your favourite Greggs order and isn't that just delightful news?
The new store will stock all the classic customer favourites that the bakery has become known for, including sausage rolls, steak bakes, as well as other products such as square sausage, pineapple tarts and vegan items.
Coffees and hot food will also be on the menu, including delicacies such as chicken strips and potato wedges.
The new store's opening hours will be every weekday between 5:30am and 6:30am on weekends, so it's perfect you are going to be undertaken any early morning commutes and you start fancying a Greggs coffee and pastry.
Shop manager Andy Ewing said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop.
"We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway, click and collect or Just Eat delivery.”
Roisin Currie, Retail and People Director for Greggs, added: “Our new shop in Dalkeith has brought 16 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food on-the-go.”
