With lockdown separating many couples this Valentine's Day, Greggs has come up with a tasty way to share a token of love across the miles.
It has a range of Valentine’s e-gift cards which are set to appeal to lovers of the bakery chain and which can be personalised and sent from the comfort of home.
The cards can be created for as little as £5 and will be valid for two years.
Alongside a chosen name on the front of the card, accompanying messages include 'I love you more than Greggs and 'You make my sausage roll'.
A spokesman said: "Valentine’s Day will undoubtedly be a little different this year, with Zoom dinner dates replacing romantic restaurants and socially-distanced walks instead of weekends away.
" Greggs is here to deliver a taste of normal with tasty tokens of love in the form of gift cards that can be personalised to show the Greggs fan in your life that you care."
Another sweet idea for a little Valentine's Day gift is the baker's Jammy Heart biscuit which is available on Just Eat.
And, making it even more of an attraction, the company will be donating 5p from each sale of the biscuit to its Greggs Foundation.
The gift cards are available up to a £50 'High Roller' amount and can be sent by email, post or text.
