Just when you thought Greggs couldn't get any better, they go and launch a mouth-watering new pastry that we can almost smell from our screen.
Greggs' new cajun chicken bake sees shredded chicken breast with the iconic cajun flavour paired with spiced tomato sauce, onions and peppers, all encased in a warm, crispy pastry with a paprika crumb topping.
Looking a bit like a fajita - but in pastry - the new addition combines the brand's classic pastry style with the iconic Louisiana flavour, and is already in Greggs stores all across the UK and Ireland.
In true Greggs style, the bakery chain's new oven-baked creation also won't set you back a fortune either, with prices starting from £1.50, depending on where you live.
Although it doesn't seem especially summery to us, sadly, the limited edition cajun chicken bake will only be around for a few months, set to leave stores on September 1st.
Of course the tasty sounding new addition isn't the healthiest of snacks though, containing 432 calories. But seeing as they'll only be around for a few months, who are we to forbid ourselves from testing them out a few times before they leave us forever.
