Greggs is taking on new staff in its Liverpool stores - and there's one big benefit for job hunting pasty lovers.
The high street bakers is taking on shift leaders in its city centre stores, and staff can take advantage of 50% off food in store with their employee discount card.
Greggs' staff discount scheme offers up to 50% off bakery produced goods and 25% off bought-in products and any products outside their 'standard range'.
The vacancies currently advertised online are for shift leaders in the L2 area of the city, with pay rates of £8.78 an hour.
Vacancies on offer are for 20 hour positions, with a typical shift pattern including working between four and five days per week, including weekends on a rota basis.
The minimum shift length would be four hours per day, and staff will be required to start from 5.30am on some days.
Shop trading hours are from 5.30am until 7.30pm, but a full range of shift patterns can be discussed at interview.
Shift leaders are responsible for looking after the shop for a few hours a day, either at opening or closing time.
Other staff benefits include a profit share scheme, which some staff become eligible for after six months and means the company distributes 10% of its profits, letting staff share in their success.
There are also long service awards for employees who work at Greggs for an extended period, with 'milestone gift awards' on offer.
