As Greggs has just launched one of the weirdest giveaways yet, giving fan the chance to bag free Greggs for an entire year.
Launched by takeaway service Just Eat , the competition allows anyone with ‘Greg’ in their name the chance to get free Greggs delivered directly to their door.
But it's not just anyone with the first name Greg that's allowed to enter, as long as there’s an uninterrupted ‘Greg’ in your name – so Gregory, McGregor, Gregson, Gregina – you’re allowed to enter.
Originally spotted by The Metro, there's no word on how they pick the winner, but whichever lucky Greggs fan that gets chosen will be entitled to a free meal from Greggs delivered via Just Eat every month for one year – that's 12 free pasties spread out over 2020. What a way to start the year...

Annoyingly, there's another exception too... your location.
As Greggs is currently only available on Just Eat in London, Newcastle and Glasgow, these are the only people who can enter.
Even more specifically, you'll need to order your Greggs from specific Greggs stores - and therefore live within delivery distance of one of the below stores to enter.
In London these are the Whitechapel, East Ham, and Elephant & Castle locations, in Newcastle it’s St Mary’s Place, Gosforth High Street, and Byker, and for Glasgow you’ll need to order from Victoria Road or Dumbarton Road.
To enter the competition, you'll need to order whatever you fancy from Greggs (whether that's a festive bake or vegan sausage roll) through Just Eat, and as you have a ‘Greg’ in your name, that’s an entry.
The competition closes on the 10th December, so you'll need to make your order before then.
To summarize, to be in with a chance of winning free Greggs for a year, you'll need to have 'Greg' in your name, live near one of the above participating locations, and order something from Greggs on Just Eat before the 10th December.
The benefit is, if our name has nothing to do with Greg, surely we could just make a brand new Just Eat account...
