A new drive-thru Greggs has opened in Mansfield creating new jobs.
The store opened in Southwell Road West near Ransom Wood in Mansfield on Thursday, September 16, creating 15 new jobs for the area.
This will be Greggs’ ninth drive-thru, and customers can expect to get all their usual favourites on-the-go.
Customers will be able to make click-and-collect orders via the Greggs app, while delivery orders can be made via Just Eat.
The new store takes the number of Greggs in Mansfield up to five.
The shop will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including its popular vegan sausage roll and the new vegan sausage, bean and cheese melt.
The Mansfield shop has been described by the company as having a "fresh new look and comfortable outdoor seating". The location also includes a Nuttall Unit so customers can purchase hot items such as Southern fried chicken goujons and potato wedges.
Any further jobs created at the Ransom Wood store will be posted on the company's website.
Shop manager Karen James said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop. We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and sandwiches available for takeaway, click and collect or drive-thru.”
Roisin Currie, retail and people director for Greggs, said: “Our new drive-thru in Mansfield has brought 15 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food.”
