Greggs in Larne town centre will not reopen after coronavirus lockdown lifts

Greggs in Larne town centre will not reopen after the coronaviru s lockdown.

The store on Main Street in the town, which is understood to employ approximately 10 full-time staff, was forced to close in March once the nationwide lockdown was announced.

Even though many other Greggs stores across the country have now reopened following the easing of lockdown restrictions, the company has confirmed that its Larne store will not be.

A Greggs spokesperson said: “We can confirm that sadly our Larne shop will not be reopening. A full list of our shops in the local area can be found by using our Shop Finder which is available at greggs.co.uk.”

The closest Greggs to Larne residents that is open is the store on Belfast Road, Kilwaughter.

It is open from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
