Many Brits will agree that the holiday season hasn't officially started until you've scoffed one of Greggs' beloved Festive Bakes.
Featuring a flaky pastry case filled with chicken breast pieces, sage and onion stuffing and bacon mixed in sage and cranberry sauce, the comforting snack is a seasonal classic.
And whilst Halloween hasn't even passed yet, Greggs has announced that its Festive Bake is officially returning for 2020. You read that right.
The Christmassy treat will be available from Friday, November 6th. Meaning fans still have over two months to wait until they can get their hands on one.
Sharing the news on social media, the bakery chain said: “If anything can save 2020, it's the Festive Bake #79Days.”
And fans have been expressing their excitement with many calling for the release date to be pushed up.
One person commented: “We need it this year!”
Someone else said: “Yes! Love a festive bake also looking forward to your pumpkin spiced latte!”
While a third added: “Omg I hope I can travel to the UK from the USA for this.”
Greggs hasn't confirmed how much the festive bake will cost this year, but in 2019 it was £1.50. The countdown is officially on!
