Greggs drive-thru announced for Nottinghamshire

A new Greggs drive-thru is coming to Nottinghamshire this summer, as work is set to begin at a major new retail park development.

The new retail park will offer a "number of employment opportunities" and will be located on Southwell Road West near Ransom Wood, Mansfield.

The site will boast a Costa Coffee and Greggs drive-thru, as well as other retailers to be confirmed, with a 70-acre woodland park as its backdrop.

The work, which is estimated to take 20 weeks, will begin next month, seeing four new buildings erected.

The retail park, which links both the Sherwood Oaks Business Centre to the Ransom Wood Business Park, will aim to be completed by early Summer.

The site will be surrounded by 70 acres of woodland park (JW-G Construction Ltd)

John White, managing director of JW-G Construction, said: "This is another exciting project that we are delighted to be working on and are looking forward to working once again with the Burney Developments’ team.

"In the current climate, this development will open up a number of employment opportunities and contribute to boosting the local economy."

This development will be located close to the brand new McDonald's drive-thru restaurant at Oakleaf Close in Mansfield, which hopes to open in Spring this year.

Other ongoing developments in the town include a Taco Bell, Tim Hortons and Domino's, at the Stockwell Gateway development on the old bus station site, as well as plans for another Taco Bell next to the KFC in Forest Town.
