Greggs fans have been left disappointed after the bakery chain announced it would up the price of sausage rolls.
A 5p price increase is being implemented across the entire menu, with every item going up by five or 10 per cent - and fans are outraged.
Sausage rolls are arguably the most popular item at the bakery chain, and both the regular version and the vegan option will be going up from £1 to £1.05, reports the Mirror .

After news of the increase was shared online, Greggs fans were quick to comment on the post and one said it was a “bad omen” for how 2022 would go.
Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Greggs sausage rolls going up by 5p is shameful. I’m boycotting, well, at least until Friday."
Another wrote: "Not forgetting the national tragedy of Greggs’ sausage rolls going up by 5p."
While a third simply added: "I hate life."
A fourth shopper said: "Now what do you mean they changed the price of the vegan sausage rolls at Greggs? I can’t afford that extra 5p, Boris."
Greggs said the price rises affect each of its bakeries, and a company spokesperson told Bloomberg : "Ingredients and labour costs have been rising and Greggs is not immune from that.
"The company does absorb some of the cost but has put up prices by about 5-10 pence across the range."
