Yes, that's right - the introduction of a vegan sausage roll at Greggs was a seismic occasion and one that ruffled a few feathers (has anyone checked on Piers Morgan recently?).
However, the team at Greggs aren't simply content with one new vegan option on the menu and have teased the prospect of more meat-alternative snacks being added in the coming months.
To celebrate World Vegan Day, the head honchos at Greggs asked their Twitter fans what they would like to see transformed into a vegan option and people responded in their droves.
The sausage, bean and cheese melt was one of the items that people wanted to see turned vegan, while others pleaded for an alternative to the steak bake.
A few of the sweet treats were also mentioned, but there was a runaway winner in terms of the item that most people wanted a vegan option for.
It seems as though people are desperate for the festive bake - which is crammed full of chicken, stuffing and bacon in a sage and cranberry sauce - to be altered.
