We know – it’s only August – but Greggs has revealed when it’s beloved festive bake will be available this autumn.
It’s all very well enjoying steak bakes and chicken bakes for most of the year but in the run-up to Yuletide many of us only feel like Christmas is really on its way when the festive bake makes an appearance.

Last year, Geordies got a taste of festive bakes before the rest of the country when Greggs launched them early to coincide with the reveal of Fenwick's Window, a move that also saw them reverse the sign on their Northumberland Street shop so it looked the right way in the window.
If you're not familiar with the ingredients of a festive bake, they combine chicken breast pieces, sage and onion stuffing and sweetcure bacon, in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce. All parcelled up in crumb topped, tasty puff pastry.
