Greggs announces it is opening another store in Liverpool city centre

Greggs has confirmed it is opening yet another bakery in Liverpool's city centre .

The new shop will be located close to Liverpool ONE at Lord Street and will offer customers the option to take away or eat in with seating available.

As you'd expect, customers will be able to enjoy a range of hot and cold foods and its breakfast ranges when the store opens on Friday, May 10.

Amanda McBride, shop manager at Liverpool Lord Street said: "We can't wait to open our doors and hear what the local community thinks.

"We hope customers enjoy the wide range of tasty items we have on offer."

Greggs has a number of other bakeries in the city centre including at Liverpool ONE, Bold Street , Castle Street, St John's Shopping Centre and on Old Hall Street in Liverpool's business district.

Rosin Currie, retail and people director for Greggs, said: "We're delighted to be able to invest in Liverpool, bringing new jobs to the area and providing both new and existing customers with a modern and convenient new shop."

The new store will be open 6am-8pm Monday- Saturday and 8.greg30am-6pm on Sunday.
