Hot on the heels of its partnership announcement with PlayStation, Greggs has launched an exclusive meal deal for gamers.
The 'Greggs & PlayStation Launch Box' has been released to coincide with the release of the highly-anticipated PS5 from Sony, which is now available to buy in the UK - although you’ll be lucky to find one before Christmas as every retailer sold out within minutes of restocking their online shelves on Thursday.
The new £5 mixed sharing box from Greggs is available exclusively through Just Eat from now until December 2 and includes two sausage rolls, one of them vegan, plus two doughnuts - one sugar strand and one a vegan glazed ring - and two cold drinks.
Alternately customers can ask for an all-vegan or all non-vegan version of the contents, which are all packaged up in a bespoke, limited-edition box which is described as a "perfect addition to any multi-player gaming session".
A spokesperson for Greggs called it a one-of-a-kind partnership of "two of the biggest and best-loved brands in the country" and said it celebrated "a defining cultural moment (in a year to forget) with the launch of the coveted console of 2020."
Greggs customer and marketing director Hannah Squirrell said: "Greggs and PlayStation are two beloved brands - both with an army of die-hard fans - so the two iconic brands coming together to celebrate the launch of PS5 makes complete sense.
"We’ve taken this cultural moment in time as an opportunity to give our shared brand fans the opportunity to get their hands on a piece - and a taste - of history."
There are just 50 limited-edition boxes available in each Greggs shop offering delivery through Just Eat and they'll be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
