Greg Wallace acknowledged he gets on well with his wife's mum because they're the same age.
The Masterchef judge, 54, didn't take any notice in the 22 year gap when he married his fourth wife Anna-Marie.
But the chef admitted he spends all day giggling with his wife's mum Rena because they remember the same TV shows and 1970s pop songs.
Greg confessed he will be laughing away with Rena but his wife Anna will have "no idea" what they "are talking about" because of the age gap.
He told The Sun : “I love Rena — we have such a giggle. We are roughly the same age.
“Me and Rena remember the same TV shows and sing the same 1970s pop songs.
“Anna doesn’t know what we are talking about. We were singing Boney M at breakfast this morning and Anna has no idea.”
Greg lives with Anna and their son Sid, 11 months, as well as the in-laws Massimo and Rena at a house in Kent.
Their love story goes back to when they first exchanged messages on Twitter in 2013.
Greg and Anna tied the knot in a romantic wedding at Hever Castle, in Kent in August 2016.
The chef has been married three times before.
It was a bad twist of fate when his first bride Christine abandoned him after six weeks of marriage in 1991.
Greg didn't let the heartache put him off love as he wed again to former pastry chef Denise and the couple have two grown-up children.
They were wed in 1999 but they went their separate ways from one another in 2004.
The TV cook crossed paths with his third wife Heidi in 2009.
They were married a year later but separated after 15 months of marriage.
