Greg Stroman was Redskins’ highest-graded player at PFF vs. Bengals

Feel free to start getting the hype train for Washington Redskins defensive back Greg Stroman going again.

Stroman, a seventh-round pick in 2018, is once again showing some big flashes for the team. As seen in the tweet above, he emerged as the highest-graded player outright for the Redskins in Thursday’s preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Exceeding expectations isn’t anything new for Stroman, though. He put in 15 games of work a season ago and ranked well among all rookie corners while earning praise from Jay Gruden himself.

Thursday was just another extension of Stroman’s underrated run as a value pick by the Redskins.

Stroman isn’t first in the pecking order at corner on the depth chart by any means. But at this pace, he’s giving the team some long-term options to consider and it’s clear he hasn’t hit a ceiling yet.
