Greg Stewart has shared an emotional goodbye message after leaving Rangers.
Stewart - a lifelong Rangers fan - is out of contract this summer and will depart Ibrox after two years playing under Steven Gerrard.
He was mainly used as an impact sub and found regular starts hard to come by, but still contributed three goals in 5-0 wins over former club Aberdeen and Hearts during his first season in Govan.
And Stewart has taken to social media to pay tribute to the club he supported growing up in Fallin, Stirling.
He posted on Instagram: “2 years I will cherish (for) a lifetime! Ups and downs on that way… we had 1 ultimate goal we had to complete!
"From my family and friends who supported me every step of the way… the manager, coaching staff, my teammates, staff behind the scenes and the fans who follow near and far… thank you everyone @rangersfc for the last two seasons.”
Stewart made 33 appearances in total for Rangers after signing from Birmingham City.
Sporting director Ross Wilson hailed Stewart after his departure was confirmed.
He said: “As a Rangers fan I know how much it meant to Greg to help the club clinch the league championship and I am delighted he moves on to his next challenge as a league champion.”
