Rangers forward Greg Stewart admits he "couldn't believe" how many fans turned out to watch their side in a Dubai friendly.
Steven Gerrard 's men thrashed Lokomotiv Tashkent 6-1 earlier today, with Stewart coming off the bench to get a brace.
The match will serve to get the Gers ready for the Scottish Cup and the return of the Premiership but one aspect in particular struck the former Kilmarnock and Aberdeen man.
Stewart told Rangers TV: "It’s always nice to contribute and get a couple of goals but it was all about getting our fitness up and it was good to get some minutes.
"It was nice to get a wee break because we’ve played a lot of games this season but the boys have come back and we’re buzzing to get started.
"Again, unbelievable support. I couldn’t believe how many people were here to watch us so it was nice to give them something back."
