The situation for the Cleveland Browns at left tackle is a lot more secure. The team announced on Monday that Greg Robinson has been re-signed.
Robinson took over midway through the 2018 season and proved quite capable in pass protection. It was a refreshing career revitalization for the former Rams draft bust.
Robinson was a pleasant surprise, helping keep Baker Mayfield comfortable in the pocket. The Browns offensive line really solidified with the former No. 2 overall pick in the lineup. His re-signing solidified what was the biggest potential hole on the offense.
Various reports indicate the deal is for one year, though the Browns have not officially disclosed the terms of the deal.
