Greg Robinson ejected as part of penalty-filled first half

Starting left tackle Greg Robinson was ejected from the Browns opener against the Tennessee Titans for kicking a player after a play.

Robinson fell backward after being knocked by Titans safety Kenny Vaccaro. As Vaccaro fell forward, Robinson caught him with a deliberate foot to the side of the head. He was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct initially, and a booth review from above determined the action was grounds for ejecting Robinson.

It was the second 15-yard infraction called on Robinson in the first half, following a very questionable blindside block call on the team’s first drive.

Robinson’s penalty was the team’s eighth, totaling 96 yards.
