Greg O'Shea says working on 2FM with Doireann Garrihy was more nerve-wracking than Love Island

Greg O’Shea has told how co-hosting with Doireann Garrihy on 2FM was more nerve-wracking than entering Love Island.

The rugby ace, 24, has been filling in for Eoghan McDermott for the past month on the RTE breakfast show.

And with just two weeks left in Montrose, Greg told the Irish Mirror he may have found his calling.

He added: “I was so nervous when I started my first show.

“Truthfully, I was more nervous going on the radio with Doireann than I was going in to Love Island.

“Maybe it is because RTE backed me and I was essentially providing a service to the Irish people rather than just myself going into the villa.”
