Green Shirt Guy laughing meme: Man becomes online sensation after cracking up hysterically at anti-immigration protester

A man dubbed the Green Shirt Guy has become an online sensation after he was filmed laughing hysterically at outspoken Trump supporters.

Alex Kack was sitting in the front row at the Tucson City Council meeting on Tuesday night when a woman next to him wearing a Make America Great Again hat began making a scene.

The woman stood up and began shouting for stricter enforcement of immigration laws, The Washington Post reported.

She and her male companion, reportedly members of an anti-immigrant group, also waved placards about that read "Stop rewarding, start deporting".

In response, for the next thirty seconds Kack began uncontrollably laughing, unaware the whole ordeal was being caught on camera.

In an interview with the Washington Post, Kirk said: “It kind of just happened, and it was so absurd."

The video was posted online by a local television reporter and soon enough, Kack - referred to Green Shirt Guy because green polo shirt - became a viral internet sensation.

Footage of the encounter has been viewed nearly five million times and Kack has gained a hearty 20,000 new Twitter followers as a result.

The lime green polo he was wearing is "more famous than I am," Kack told the Washington Post.

In fact, one Twitter user reported the video had possibly led to the Green Penguin Polo selling out online on clothing store Nordstrom.

Meanwhile, hundreds of others on the Twitter-sphere have pledged their allegiance to Green Shirt Guy, claiming they are now off to buy green polo shirts of their own.
