Green Party leader Eamon Ryan asleep when asked to cast Dail vote

Eamon Ryan was caught napping when he was due to cast his vote in the Dail this evening.

The Green Party leader was due to vote on a motion on lower paid jobs and employment rights in Dublin's Convention Centre.

However, when his name was called out he was unresponsive and as the camera panned to him he appeared to be fast asleep.

Fianna Fail's Jack Chambers was sitting in front of the Green Party leader and appeared to give him a shout before he cast his vote.
