Portugal, Gibraltar and Israel are among 12 countries and territories people in England can visit from May 17 without self-isolating on their return, the Government has said.
France, Spain, Greece are not yet included in the so-called 'green list'. They will be on the amber list - so 10 days of quarantine when you return to the UK.
Countries will be reviewed as part of the traffic light system for foreign travel to guard against a resurgence of Covid.
Turkey, the Maldives and Nepal were added to Red List where you cannot travel to due to coronavirus concerns.
People returning from those countries after 4am on Wednesday will be required to stay in a quarantine hotel for 11 nights at a cost of £1,750 for solo travellers.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said we've made "huge progress" this year but we're not at the end during a Downing Street briefing to the nation on May 7.
Mr Shapps said that vaccine certificates will be on NHS app.
English residents will be able to use their NHS Health app to access their vaccination status from 17 May - or can request a letter.
Mr Shapps says there is a concern about a resurgence of Covid so the only route out is "careful and prudent, a responsible one".
He says it's important the country doesn't risk that success now.
People returning from these countries will have to take a test before they return to the UK and one on day two after they return - but will not have to quarantine:
