Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy to play huge stadium gig in West Yorkshire

They might not be coming to Leeds, but three of the biggest rock bands around are heading to nearby Huddersfield for a huge stadium gig.

Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy have all been big name acts for a number of years, and they will combine for a series of four UK and Ireland dates next summer as part of the Hella Mega Tour.

As reported by Examiner Live, one of those gigs is at Huddersfield's John Smiths Stadium on June 27, only a few minutes down the road from Leeds.

Other dates include Glasgow Bellahouston Park on Wednesday June 24 and London's Olympic Stadium on Friday June 26, and Dublin on June 29, before heading back over to the states for the US leg.

Rumours of a tour with all three bands have been swirling for days, with metal magazine Kerrang reporting flyers with all three band names on being handed out in California over the weekend.

How to buy tickets?

Tickets for the Huddersfield show  are £55, £65, £75 and £85 plus booking fees. They go on sale at 10am on Friday September 20 from  www.ticketmaster.co.uk  or  seetickets.com.
