A prominent Celtic ultras group has "echoed" a recent statement made by the Celtic Supporters Association, regarding the current running of the club.
The Green Brigade, who have been vocal critics of the present hierarchy at the club, have taken to social media to voice their concerns regarding matters both on and off the pitch.

In full on social media, the Celtic ultras said, “The Green Brigade echoes the concerns of the Celtic Supporters Association and reiterates our longstanding call for meaningful change within the Celtic FC hierarchy.
“Michael Nicholson and Chris McKay have repeatedly demonstrated their inability to fulfil the responsibilities of their roles. They have also proven they do not possess the strength of character to hold Dermot Desmond to account for the direction of the Club.
“While their record on football matters is sufficient to merit their removal, we cannot overlook the continued ill-treatment of supporters.
Following the unprecedented 5-month suspension of 250 Celtic supporters last season, which was eventually revoked in full alongside compensation for those affected, the Club has re-suspended two Green Brigade members.

“This suspension is driven by Mark Hargreaves, with the consent of Nicholson and McKay, as part of a petty and vindictive campaign of harassment against the Green Brigade.
“This falls against a backdrop of continued empty promises from the Celtic board to engage with supporters and improve communication channels. The only consistent communications supporters receive are marketing and merchandise campaigns designed to extract more of our cash while re-investing little in the team or infrastructure of the Club.
“No supporter wants to see further division between the Club and its fans. However, without meaningful change in the boardroom, that division will only deepen. If Nicholson and McKay refuse to resign, we call on the Celtic Board to remove them before further unrest becomes inevitable. Until these changes happen, we encourage all supporters to commit to "Not Another Penny" and support the Celtic Fans Collective.”
