Green Brigade call for Celtic unity with Livingston tifo amid unrest

The Green Brigade have called for unity among Celtic fans in the North Curve section of the stadium ahead of tomorrow's match against Livingston.

The ultras group have organised a tifo display for the Scottish Premiership encounter.

And they have asked supporters to help with the effectiveness of the display by backing the team 'visually and vocally,' while directing any anger they may have at the club's current predicament towards the board.

The group wrote on X: "North Curve Celtic has prepared a tifo for tomorrow's match.

"While there is justifiable frustration across the support, we ask fans in the North Curve for their usual participation to help back the team both visually and vocally and direct any frustration at the Board."

They accompanied the post with four images of previous tifos created at Celtic Park.

Audible chants of 'sack the board' could be heard from various sections of the stadium on Wednesday night during the 0-0 draw against Kairat Almaty.

Brendan Rodgers' side must win away in Kazakhstan to progress to the league phase of the Champions League.

When asked about the chants after the game, the 52-year-old quipped that 'sack the board' usually leads to the sacking of a manager.

However, when addressing the media today, the Northern Irishman insisted he won't walk away from the club again.

“Absolutely no chance. No chance," he said. “We’ve done that one before – it didn’t go down well.

"I said from the first day, and there’s no hidden messages and there’s no this and that, I said I’d be here for three years and I’m here for three years.”
