Green Bay Packers clinch No. 1 seed in NFC

Aaron Rodgers has led the Green Bay Packers to the No. 1 seed in the NFC, and a bye in the playoffs.

The remarkable quarterback threw three touchdown passes Sunday at Soldier Field as the Packers won, 35-16, over the Chicago Bears to complete a 13-3 regular season.

This marks the second 13-3 season in two years for Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur.

He benefits from having the fantastic Rodgers, who threw 48 touchdown passes against 5 interceptions this season. Simply remarkable.

Rodgers has thrown double-digit interceptions twice in his career and not since 2010.

Overall he has 412 touchdown passes against 89 interceptions.

Green Bay will have home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs so long as it remains alive.

The Bears, meanwhile, will face the New Orleans Saints in the Wild-Card round. In a roller-coaster season, they somehow wound up making the playoffs and will be the No. 7 seed and play at the Superdome.
