Greek scientists reconstruct the face of ancient women

Greek scientists reconstruct the face of ancient women

Scientists in Greece have reconstructed the face of a woman who lived 9,000 years ago, using a 3-D printer and some good, old-fashioned bone detective work.

She was named Dawn and offers a glimpse into life in ancient Athens. Her skeleton was recovered at the entrance of the cave where she lived with her small community.

Al Jazeera's John Psaropoulos reports from Athens.
