Greek giants one of three sides keen on Bristol City star and former Everton defender Ashley Williams

Ashley Williams has been linked with a trio of foreign clubs.

The Bristol City defender's contract expires in the summer, and is eligible to speak to clubs due to having less than six months left on his contract.

BBC Wales' Dafydd Pritchard reports that Greek giants Panathinaikos, along with Turkish side Antalyaspor and MLS team DC United are all interested in signing the Robins star on a free transfer.

Coincidentally, Williams turned down offers from Greece, Turkey and the USA last summer in order to stay in Britain, and eventually joined the Robins on a free transfer.

His initial deal at City was until January, but he signed an extension in November after interest from Belgian side Anderlecht.

Yet with six months left to run on his contract, he is once again the subject of interest.

Williams is happy at the Robins currently and focused on making the Wales squad for Euro 2020 through his performances with City - however, Pritchard reports he will consider all options at the end of the season.
