Greedy Williams listed as a starter on Browns unofficial depth chart

The Browns revealed their unofficial depth chart for the Week 2 matchup with the New York Jets. It looks very similar to the version published last week, with one notable change.

Greedy Williams is now listed as a starter at cornerback with Denzel Ward.

Williams, the team’s top draft pick in 2019, did in fact start against the Titans in Week 1. The rookie got the nod over veteran Terrance Mitchell, who was listed as the starting CB last week. Williams is expected to hold onto the starting spot. His debut was up-and-down but showed promise.

There is another minor wrinkle on the defense. Last week, Genard Avery was listed at both LB and DE. He appears only at DE this week, with Malik Jefferson moving up a peg on the depth chart at LB. Avery was a healthy scratch in Week 1.
