(Picture: ES Composite)A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Greece on Tuesday morning, with tremors felt hundreds of miles away.
Experts said the quake happened about 149km south east of the island of Karpathos, and 220km south of Rhodes.
Tremors were reportedly felt as far away as Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Israel.

The US Geological Survey estimated the quake was 6.0 on the Richter scale, while the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a 6.4 tremor.
Witnesses reported feeling rooms “sway from side to side” and seeing beds and other furniture moving.
One resident of Lindos, a town on the popular holiday island of Rhodes, posted on the EMSC’s website: “Wow! Really felt that one! Curtains moving, chair moving in a weird side to side and round motion - felt quite seasick! Lasted for 30 seconds.”
There are no immediate reports of casualties or major damage so far.
It comes after a 6.4 magnitude hit the Greek island of Crete last week.
The quake struck the east coast of the island at a depth of 10km under the village of Palekastro, sparking a tsunami warning.
