Five cult favourite feel-good films are to be shown on a huge outdoor screen overlooking the Avon Gorge this summer - and tickets start at only a fiver.
The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde, Dirty Dancing and Mean Girls will all grace the screen at the Avon Gorge Hotel by Hotel du Vin in August.
The screenings will take place on the hotel terrace over three nights, with two films screened each evening, at 6pm and 8.30pm. The terrace overlooks the Avon Gorge, with Clifton Suspension Bridge beyond.
Navigate the corridors of high school class structures with modern teen classic Mean Girls, have the time of your life with Dirty Dancing, take it to court with classic comedy Legally Blonde. sing your heart out to Hugh Jackman's hit musical The Greatest Showman, or become the dancing queen with Abba classic Mamma Mia.
The event has been organised by Wowcher and is the discount voucher firm's first cinema event in Bristol. There are a range of ticket options available, ranging from £5 to £30.
A fiver will get you into the venue to watch the film, and you can bring your own chairs and blanket, £14 will get you a ticket, beanbag and a glass of prosecco, and for £30 you get two tickets, two beanbags and a bottle of prosecco. Bean bags will also be available to hire on the night for people with a film-only ticket and the hotel bar will be available. Food and drink

Although the films aren't 18 certificates, the event is for adults only, so no under-18s will be permitted.
