More dry and mild weather is expected across Greater Manchester this weekend after several unseasonably warm days.
Temperatures touched 20 degrees Celcius in the region on Thursday and Friday, several degrees above average for the time of year.
Despite there being a blanket of cloud cover in many areas, the low cloud eventually gave way to prolonged sunny spells on Friday making it another warm feeling day.
And forecasters say we are likely to see more of the Saturday before the mercury starts to fall to more predictable levels for October next week.
Temperatures peaked in Greater Manchester at a maximum of 20C earlier on Friday evening.

It will remain dry and warm into the evening remaining with temperatures hovering at around 15 to 16C overnight, according to the Met Office, despite it being partly cloudy.
That cloud is expected to hang around and increase across the north west as we move through into the early hours of Saturday morning.
And in Greater Manchester it is expected to remain generally cloudy for most of the day. Particularly around the late morning when it could become particularly overcast.
Despite the cloud, it will still feel very mild if not warm for the time of the year, the Met Office says.
Temperatures are likely to reach 18C from the early to late afternoon.
Some thick cloud is then set to roll in, in the early evening making it quite overcast in some areas.
There is also the chance of some patchy, isolated light rain showers.
However, these are likely to clear quickly. As is the cloud bringing much brighter conditions for Sunday.
Overnight temperatures are likely to dip to around 12C in the early hours of the morning.
But sunny spells from around 10am will see the mercury rise again, peaking at around 15C in the early afternoon.
That is still several degrees below the temperatures seen in the preceding two or three days.
And cloudy conditions are expected to return on Sunday seeing temperatures dip again to the low teens.
This is expected to be the start of a return to more seasonal weather in the early part of next week.
Monday is expected to be mostly cloudy with the possibility of some light rain the afternoon, with temperatures however around 11 to 12C for most of the day, peaking at 14C.
It is a similar outlook for Tuesday when it will also remain cloudy with temperatures again peaking at around 14C, considered the average for the region at this time of year.
From next Tuesday the Met Office say there will be a "north/south split" with "unsettled breezy conditions in the north, whilst the south remains largely dry with sunny spells."
"High pressure and mostly dry conditions are likely to then dominate the UK for much of the period, with only occasional spells of rain likely in the north and east at times" they add.
