After a rainy and cold week, Greater Manchester is expected to warm up a little, albeit still dark and cloudy.
The weekend will get off to a cloudy start on Saturday morning across the region with the odd bit of rain in the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to be slightly higher in the morning than they have been for the previous week, starting at 8C and peaking at 13C in the late afternoon.

Expect heavy winds throughout the whole day, though, as speeds reach as high as 30mph in the evening which is expected to carry on to the next day.
Sunday is looking to be slightly less miserable with little to no rain throughout the whole day.
Temperatures will remain average for this time of year throughout the whole day at 10C.
Wind speeds will be even higher on Sunday, reaching as high as 37mph at the start of the afternoon, only settling down slightly in the late evening.
The Met Office has said: "Some early brightness in the south, but otherwise cloudy and mild and becoming windy. Turning wet in Cumbria during the morning, with rain spreading to remaining areas during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
"Cooler on Sunday but largely dry with bright spells, though remaining windy. Milder and cloudier on Monday with patchy rain arriving later. Rain perhaps developing more widely on Tuesday."
By Monday, the weather is expected to settle down significantly in Greater Manchester, remaining cloudy but slightly less dark and gloomy.
Tuesday will have a higher chance of rain in the morning but this is expected to settle down by the later morning and afternoon, remaining cloudy for the rest of the day and evening.
