A further 17 people have died at Greater Manchester hospitals after testing positive for Covid-19.
It is the lowest 24-hour rise in deaths for the region in just over three weeks.
Earlier today, the Manchester Evening News reported how the number of coronavirus deaths in Greater Manchester peaked in mid April.
The peak came a full eight days after the rest of England, according to the latest data.
Today's figure brings the total number of coronavirus deaths in our region to above 1,208.
It is the lowest since April 5, when the NHS said another 15 lives had been lost.
Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust recorded a further five deaths.
Both Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Bolton NHS Foundation Trust recorded another four deaths in the last 24 hours.
There was one further coronavirus related death recorded at both Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
At Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, the death toll went up by two.
The number of coronavirus related deaths at hospitals in England, Wales and Scotland has risen by 350 in the past 24 hours.
It is the lowest 24-figure nationally since March.
The UK-wide death tally in hospitals passed 20,000 on Saturday.
The data only relates to deaths in hospitals.
It does not take into account deaths in care homes or the wider community.
It means the true figure is likely to be far higher.
