A further 21 people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals after contracting coronavirus.
The total number of COVID-19 deaths in our region's hospitals now stands at 1,524.
Hundreds more have died at care homes and in their own homes across the region since the outbreak started.
Five more coronavirus-related deaths were recorded at the Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust in the last 24 hours.
The Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust also reported five more deaths.
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust recorded four, Bolton NHS Foundation Trust three and Stockport NHS Foundation two.
Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust each recorded one further COVID-19 related death.
The latest figures from the Department of Health show that a total of 31,587 people had died in hospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK as of 5pm on Friday.
This is up by 346 from 31,241 the day before.

- Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust - 376
- Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust - 4
- Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust - 156
- Stockport NHS Foundation Trust - 147
- Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust - 124
- The Christie NHS Foundation Trust - 10
- Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust - 194
Some of the larger trusts run several hospitals in Greater Manchester.
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust oversees the Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), Wythenshawe Hospital and Trafford General, while Pennine Acute is in charge of North Manchester General Hospital, Fairfield Hospital, the Royal Oldham Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary.
