Greater Manchester Police seize car with cloned plates and stop vehicles in dangerous condition

Greater Manchester Road Police have been on patrol throughout the night and have spotted a Volvo parked in Eccles with cloned plates.

The car has been seized.

Police tweeted: "#TrafficPCSO patrol located this vehicle in GMPSalford in Eccles tonight, on the same street where he had found a stolen vehicle last month. Volvo was displaying cloned plates. #seized awaiting full ID examination."

Meanwhile in Manchester City Centre drivers were stopped in vehicles in a dangerous condition with poor visibility.

GMP Police tweeted: "PC Hussain has been dealing with vehicles being driven in a dangerous condition in the city with @GMPSpecials.

"Some windows were only letting 12.6% of light in & were prohibited from being driven. One driver said 'The guy that put them on told me I’d get done for this.'"
