Officers have asked the men who ran away from a cannabis farm producing around £500,000 of plants to contact them if they'd like their belongings back.
On Thursday, April 22, officers from the Wigan West policing team discovered a huge cannabis farm in one of the industrial units on Kilshaw Street, Pemberton.
Two massive rooms inside the unit contained 1,024 cannabis plants - believed to be worth between £400,000 - £500,000.
Officers believe those behind the farm were living in the unit, as beds, showering facilities, and lots of food and water was also found inside.
Although the men involved snuck out from the building before police could enter, they've posted pictures from the scene on the GMP Wigan West Facebook page, along with an appeal for anyone involved to get in touch to retrieve their belongings.
The post read: "On Thursday April 22 local officers found a huge cannabis farm on Kilshaw Street, in one of the industrial units.
"As officers were around one side of the building, the males inside managed to escape out of the other.
"Inside the unit there were two large rooms containing a total of 1024 plants. The potential street value of this crop was in the region of £400,000 - £500,000.
"Also contained within the unit were living quarters with beds, kitchen, showering facilities and a large quantity of food and water.
"If any of the male gardeners involved in this incident would like to collect any of their belongings then pop down to Wigan Police Station to speak to an officer."
