Greater Manchester is expected to be hit by heavy rain later tonight.
Forecasters say the rest of Wednesday is expected to stay mostly dry throughout the day, with some cloud and wind, before rain sets in in the evening.
The Met Office says the rain will have cleared by Thursday morning however, with tomorrow in Greater Manchester expected to be cloudy, with sunny intervals by late morning.
Friday meanwhile, is a mixed bag and is expected to start off with heavy rain early in the morning, before becoming sunny later in the day.
The weekend isn't looking much better, and is predicted to be 'changeable' with localised spells of wind and rain.
It comes as a weather warning has been issued for Scotland, which is expected to bear the brunt of a rainstorm bearing down on the UK.

Winds will be lighter and it will remain mild. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Friday is expected to start mostly dry but windy, with blustery, potentially heavy, showers.
Saturday and Sunday remaining changeable with locally spells of rain and blustery winds.
