Greater Manchester is set for a mixed week of weather from tomorrow (August 2).
However, if you’re planning to take your children for a fun-filled day out in the region, it might be best to do so before Thursday.
And, as the latter half of the week becomes the weekend, we can expect storms to dampen any summer plans.
On Monday, the Met Office says Manchester will see plenty of cloud — but highs of 19°C, making it ideal conditions for a trip into the city without your kids getting too hot and flustered.

There’s also only a 10 percent chance of rain tomorrow.
Tuesday and Wednesday look set to be the best two days of the week — so head down to the beach if you’re hankering for some sand and sea then.
The sun will shine brightly on Tuesday morning, leading to highs of 20°C in the afternoon.
A similar picture is forecast for Wednesday, which like the day before sees roughly a 10 percent chance of rain.
However, things take a turn for the worse on Thursday.
Temperatures cool to 18°C, and rain is expected to land in the afternoon.
Predictably, as is tradition with a British summer, rain and thunderstorms will roll in for the weekend.
Friday sees rain forecast, although it’s only a 40 percent chance.
Saturday is similar, with light rain and breezes expected.
Sunday is where the weather really nose-dives — as storms are predicted.
Thundery showers are going to come in mid-afternoon, according to BBC Weather.
